After having studied engineering and business administration in Germany and England, Mr. Shi obtained a PhD from Technische Universität Berlin. He worked at several international firms for about fifteen years and spent much of his industrial time in senior positions. Mr. Shi has been holding the professorship "International Management & Entrepreneurship" (W2) at bbw University of Applied Sciences since 2013. Some of his research and advisory activities focus upon topics and issues related to China in the fields "Economics and Management of Technology & Innovation", "Strategic & International Management" and "Intercultural & Diversity Management". A list of his research activities in forms of publications, conducted research projects, organised workshops, attended conferences, invited presentations, supervised master's theses and realised research seminars can be made available upon request.
