Prof. Dr. LIU Hanxin, born in Hunan Province of China, entered the Architecture Department of Tongji University in 2001, selected for the dual-master program on Urban Design between TU-Berlin and Tongji University with CSC (Chinese Scholarship Committee)Scholarship from 2008-2010,got his PhD title at 2017 after years of transnational research as visiting scholar at TU- Berlin.
Since 2018, Prof. Dr. LIU Hanxin has been carrying out
Postdoctoral research and teaching at Art and Architecture Faculty of
Soochow University in the city of Suzhou. His research field has
covered interdisciplinary field including urban design, environmental
behavior and cognition science. An important part of his post doctor
research has been focused on exploring the value of Oriental Classic
Garden in contemporary urban space design. At the moment he is leading
a research program about health‐oriented environment evaluation and
design based on biological data collecting and analyzing technology,
the program is being financed by China Postdoctoral Science
Foundation.
