Prof. Dr. Ludwig Nastansky hat an den Universitäten Saarbrücken, Montréal (Kanada), Paderborn, St. Gallen (Schweiz) und Tongji (Shanghai, China) Wirtschaftsinformatik, Betriebswirtschaftslehre und Management Science gelehrt. Seine aktuellen internationalen Aktivitäten erstrecken sich auf Consulting-, Vortrags-, Forschungs-, Entwicklungs- und Projekttätigkeit im Bereich des computergestützten Informations- und Wissensmanagements in innovativen IT-Szenarien, die vom e-Business bis zum privaten Sektor reichen, mit Schwerpunkten bei kollaborativen Systemen. Aktuelle Arbeitsgebiete: Machine Learning, Deep Learning Algorithmen. Der Autor von zahlreichen wissenschaftlichen Publikationen und Entwicklungsprojekten von Software-Frameworks ist Gründer von mehreren Unternehmen, die Services und Produkte im Bereich von e-Collaboration anbieten. Prof. Nastansky ist Gründer der Pavosoft GmbH (1990) und Pavone AG (1994). Er war Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender der PAVONE AG (Paderborn, Bedale UK, Portland USA) von 1998-2012. Er ist Adjunkt-Professor am Chinesisch-Deutschen Hochschulkolleg (CDHK) der Tongji-Universität in Shanghai und realisiert zusammen mit seiner Frau Prof. Dr. Pei Wang-Nastansky Technologietransferprojekte in China. 2008 wurde ihm von IBM der weltweit ausgeschriebene "IBM Faculty Award" verliehen. Er ist Gründungs- und Ehrenmitglied der DNUG (The Enterprise Collaboration Professionals). Er ist Gründungsmitglied der OpenNTF-Alliance und war Mitglied des Steering Committee von 2009-2011. Er war von 2002 bis 2008 Vorstandsmitglied im Verband der Hochschullehrer für Betriebswirtschaft (VHB), 2003/4 Stellvertr. Vorsitzender. Er ist Direktor des Groupware Competence Center Paderborn (GCC) und Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender der Accent Accent GmbH & Co. KG a.A. Seine Hobbies umfassen aktiver Sport, Spielen mit Lua scripting, Torch SDKs & MatLab Machine Learning, Geschichten über die Zukunft, Fotografie und Reisen zusammen mit seiner Frau.
